Their script is getting better, but seriously considering how many calls I get saying that they have tried to reach me 'x' number of times, and this is the final attempt. That never gets old I guess.
Now they acknowledge that they need your make and model so they can pull up the information about your file. They get testy when I asked them, how many people do you think drive the same make and model as me, and so how can they guarantee that the account they pull up is mine.
This is where the second part comes in.
They then ask you:
- First and Last Name
- Current Address
- Date of Birth.
That information starts getting to the basics of stealing someone's identity.
