It is funny when these folks call me.
The robot message is always the same. I haev an excellent payment history with my Visa, Master Card, or American Express card, and that I can be eligible for a lower interest rate based on my payment history.
I always click 1 to talk to a person about this.
The person comes on, asking me if I am interested in lowering my rates.
I always say yes.
They then ask for how much in total debt I have.
I come up with a number usually higher than 5K but lower than 20K for my credit debt.
They say where do I owe this debt.
Usually i tell them to tell me. They called me and said I had good payments.
....... and that usually ends the call.
I know it is a scam, and you should to.
If you just ask 1 or 2 questions, they hang up on you.
Any legit service would not be worried about 1 or 2 questions.
